Contributing to a sustainable future
The Powermet business is all about being sustainable. The rapid expansion of electrification across many sectors plus the conversion to green and clean energy generation and storage requires non ferrous metals. We believe our role is to supply products in the most sustainable way possible, keeping costs as competitive as possible and harm on the environment to a minimum.
Fully recycled
Powermets copper is sourced via our supply chain of companies that comes from a fully recycled source. This dramatically reduces the burden of mined copper production.
Packaging
We pride ourselves on reusing packaging where possible. Using pallets again, collecting wooden drums for re use and packing more components into one delivery.
As we move in the right direction
As part of our approach to sustainable services, we have also invested more than £100,000 in low-emission machinery/ transport to cut and distribute our products.
