A fantastic opportunity is available for a self-motivated Warehouse Operative to join one of the UK’s leading Earthing, Renewable and Lighting protection material suppliers.
You will be joining the warehouse department and help with the day-to-day operations/ logistics department in ensuring goods go out to customers on time.
The company works with a European manufacturing group, with Midland distribution sites in West Bromwich. The company prides itself on delivering a high-quality service, developing its employees to the same standard. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will hold an important role within the company.
Main Duties Include
Key Responsibilities – will include but not limited to
Supporting the warehouse manager in day to day running of the warehouse with the main responsibility being picking and packing of jobs ready to go out to our customers.
Checking in and locating incoming stock
Dealing with customer collections
Loading and unloading vehicles
To continually identifying opportunities to positively improve the customer experience and introduce existing and potential customers to the full range of company products and support.
Keeping the yard/warehouse and workstations tidy and organized.
The successful candidate musts
Key Skills
Excellent time management
Hold a valid Fork Lift License
Hold a full and valid driving license
Good communication skills
Problem Solving
Flexibility – Some overtime maybe required
Demonstrable team work skills
Commitment to external and internal customer satisfaction
High level of customer service skills demonstrating a positive, friendly and professional attitude at all times
Willingness to learn product knowledge, fast
Attention to detail
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Well organised
Being able to work in a fast-paced environment.
