SNE 1kV CABLE

Powermet supply DNO approved SNE 1kV rated cable which  are used when the power supply has separate PE & N conductors and are only combined as PEN near the power source. The Protective Earth and Neutral are not connected after the building entry point.

Supplied in both Aluminium and Copper and kept on 250m and 100m drums. 

SNE (Separate Neutral & Earth) construction for use in older installations.

Conductor: Solid Aluminium Conductor
Insulation: Cross Link Polyethylene (XLPE)
Neutral Conductor: Plain Copper wire covered in blue polymeric compound
Earth Continuity Conductor: Plain Copper
String Separator: Non Hygroscopic separator
Sheath: available in both Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
Sheath Colour: Black (PVC) or Orange (LSZH)

Temperature limits: -15°C to +70°C

Should not be installed at temperatures below 0°C
